Why this name

The exact word has sold

newsr.com ended at $3,100 on a GoDaddy auction in February 2026. This name adds "daily" to that coined word.

Daily names have a band

Daily-compound .coms sold between $2,238 (dailybite.com, SnapNames) and $2,995 (searchdaily.com, Sedo) in 2025.

The honest weakness

A coined spelling has to be said aloud once. A similar coined news spelling, newzer.com, sold for $440 in the same auction recap, which is why this name is not priced like a plain dictionary pair.

Questions

Does the domain have traffic or revenue?

We make no claims about traffic or revenue. These pages are new. We found no public search estimate for "newsr" or "daily news".

Are the concept sites real services?

No. They are designs that show what the name could become. Every headline, source and figure on them is an example made up for the design, about no real person, company or event, and nothing on them is on sale except the domain.

How does the transfer work?

Once the price is agreed, payment goes through an escrow service. When it is held, the domain moves to your registrar account and the escrow releases the payment.

Will people spell it right?

Some will type "dailynews". That is the cost of a coined spelling, and the reason for the saying: "daily newsr, news with an r". A buyer would likely also want to watch the near spellings.

Is there a trademark issue?

"Daily News" is a well-known newspaper name registered by others (USPTO record). Nothing on these pages trades as that paper. A USPTO search on 2 November 2026 found no live US mark on "daily newsr" or "newsr"; other countries were not checked, and a buyer should do their own search.

What was on the domain before?

An earlier owner ran a Bangla-language news portal here in 2017, seen in the Internet Archive. It was not ours and nothing of it comes with the sale. The current registration dates from 9 July 2022 and is paid up to July 2027.
